Germany has not yet found a replacement for Russian gas, the Prime Minister of Bavaria admitted

Negotiations with foreign partners not yet helped Germany to find a replacement for Russian gas, said Prime Minister of Bavaria Markus Seder.

“With regard to energy, we list now Russia has more money than before. Thus there is a risk that there will be problems: the prices go up, there is no replacement,” he said on German TV channel ZDF.

The Prime Minister of the Federal land added that to Germany now faces the task is to find alternatives to Russian gas.

“The visits that were made before in Qatar, Norway, Canada, — has not helped,” said Seger.

After the start of the Russian operation in the Ukraine, Western countries began to impose sanctions against Russia, in particular, for the purchase of energy.
