Angola would like to soon hold a meeting of the joint Commission on military-technical cooperation (MTC) to update the program, there is “an urgent need” in the signing of the Memorandum, said in an interview with RIA Novosti the representative of Angola in Russia Augusto da Silva Cunha.

He recalled that the draft program of military cooperation for a five-year period originally covered the period from 2019 to 2024, but the pandemic is a new meeting of the Commission on military technical cooperation was conducted, and the dates were shifted on 2021-2026 years.

“We believe that it is important to hold a new meeting of the Commission for military-technical cooperation, in order to review and update the program… the Program of military cooperation covers a large number of issues, including the supply of arms and aircraft… There is an urgent need in the signing of the Memorandum,” the diplomat said.
