At least eight people were injured in days in the territory of the DNI because of shelling from the Ukrainian army, according to the headquarters of the territorial defence of the Republic.

Ukraine in 2005 ratified the Ottawa Convention, which prohibits the use, stockpiling and trade of antipersonnel mines. Thus, Kiev violated the undertaken international obligations.
