In Moscow, the police detained 107 participants of the illegal rally “Rich and successful”
In Moscow, the police detained more than a hundred participants of an illegal run of elite sports cars “Rich and successful”. This was reported on Monday, August 29, on the website of the capital’s Interior Ministry headquarters.
According to the department, a total of 107 violators, including the organizer of the event, were taken to the territorial police departments. 118 administrative protocols were drawn up with respect to the detainees, 61 of them — according to part 1 of Article 20.2.2 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation “Organization of mass simultaneous stay and (or) movement of citizens in public places that caused a violation of public order.”
The metropolitan Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs added that the cars of the participants of the unauthorized event were placed in a special parking lot.
Earlier it was reported that the Tagansky court in Moscow arrested the organizer of the rally Alexey Khitrov. It was noted that he was sentenced to 15 days of administrative arrest.
According to preliminary data, more than 170 elite expensive car brands, in particular Lamborghini, Rolls-Royce Phantom, Ferrari, Mercedes-Benz G63 Brabus, Porsche, Hummer H1, Chevy Covette C8, Audi RS5 and Bentley Continental GT II, were planning to take part in the rally in the center of Moscow.
