Lavrov spoke about the attitude of most countries to Russia’s position on the West

Lavrov pointed to the West’s attempts to force the countries of the world to change their attitude towards Russia, the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Sergey Lavrov, spoke about the attitude of most countries to Russia’s position on the West in an interview with the Zvezda TV channel for a documentary on the Non-Aligned Movement published on the agency’s website.

According to Lavrov, the United States, Great Britain and Europe are “shamelessly” trying to force the countries of the world to change their opinion about Russia. “It is necessary to change it, because the overwhelming majority of these states either consider our attitude to the long—term disregard by the West of Russia’s legitimate security interests justified, or they want to take a neutral position,” he explained.

Lavrov stressed that Western countries “break through the knee with the crudest methods” all other states. “They are not even shy about public statements that if someone does not listen to them, it will not be good,” the Foreign Minister said.

In the same conversation, Sergey Lavrov said that the advent of the era of a multipolar world is inevitable, despite the obstacles of the West.
