Serbian President Vucic said about buying gas from the Russian Federation “at a fantastic price” Republikeserbia buys Russian gas “at a fantastic price”.
This was stated by the President of the Republic Aleksandar Vucic, reports TASS.
According to him, the country spends 3.2 billion cubic meters of gas. “We receive 2 billion cubic meters from Russia, which is 63-64 percent of all our needs, we pay 800 million euros, a fantastic price,” Vucic stressed. He added that Serbia would have paid 4.8 billion euros for an additional 1.2 billion cubic meters of gas if it had been bought at today’s prices.
Earlier, Vucic said that Serbia is actively storing gas for the upcoming winter, the country has fuel reserves for 50 days. According to him, the country already has 100 million cubic meters in UGS in Hungary, four to five million are pumped every day. In addition, the President recalled that Belgrade’s refusal to switch to the green agenda actually saved the country.
