“Today, on August 26, at 21.15, the second of the power units that stopped working yesterday was connected to the power grid,” the organization said in a statement.
The first power unit of the Zaporozhye NPP was connected to the Ukrainian power grids on Friday afternoon, August 26. Energoatom did not comment on the operation of the plant’s equipment and security systems.
On the morning of August 26, the NPP was disconnected from the power grids of Ukraine. At the same time, there is electricity in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, which are under the control of the allied forces.
