NYT: US intelligence advised the Ukrainian army on the fighting near Kharkov

American intelligence helps plan the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) with its intelligence, including in the Kharkiv direction. The New York Times writes about this.

According to the publication, in the summer of 2022, high-ranking Ukrainian officials intensified the exchange of intelligence data with their American counterparts. This allowed Kiev “to achieve significant success in the northeast in recent days,” writes the NYT.

Throughout the entire special operation, the United States provided Ukraine with information about command posts, ammunition depots and other key nodes on Russian military lines.

Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the redeployment of Russian troops began near Kharkov. The military department explained these actions by increasing efforts in the Donetsk direction in order to achieve the goals of the special operation.
