President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced his readiness to offer “thousands of contracts” and “thousands of employees” to French entrepreneurs. He stated this, speaking via video link at the forum of the French movement of entrepreneurs (MEDEF), writes TASS.

Ukraine, Zelensky stressed, needs French business to rebuild the country in the post-war period. Especially, he noted, the country is interested in the work of French energy companies in the Ukrainian gas production sector.

In addition, the president expects the French construction business to participate in the modernization of the country’s urban infrastructure in the field of water supply and waste recycling. Also, Kiev expects active participation in the restoration of the republic from the automotive industry and the agro-industrial sector of France.

Earlier, Ukraine and Turkey signed a memorandum on the restoration of the country’s infrastructure. It is planned that Turkish business and government agencies will be able to develop specific restoration projects in Ukraine, as well as hold consultations.
