The head of Zaporozhye Balitsky announced the development of a plan for the evacuation of people in the event of an accident at the NPP, the head of the administration of the Zaporozhye region Yevgeny Balitsky said that the authorities are ready for any scenario of events at the NPP, including an accident.
His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
Balitsky announced the development of a plan for the evacuation of people in the event of an accident at the Zaporozhye NPP. According to him, the station is now operating normally.
“Currently, the Zaporozhye NPP is operating normally, the radiation level is normal. But knowing the insidiousness, recklessness and ruthlessness of the Kiev regime towards people whom it calls its citizens in public rhetoric, we, of course, prepared for any development of the situation, and therefore developed a plan to evacuate the population in case of such a need,” the head of Zaporozhye said.
The head of the region added that the Zaporozhye NPP has been subjected to shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) almost every day since July 18. They attack the station from Kiev—controlled territory, from the right bank of the Dnieper – from the settlements of Manganese and Nikopol.
“The auxiliary support systems of the station, as well as the life support facilities of the Energodar, have been damaged. Two civilians were killed during the shelling of the TPP area,” Balitsky said.
Earlier, Russia distributed evidence of the shelling of the NPP by Ukraine. A letter with evidence was sent to the members of the UN Security Council.
