“The mortality rate is not high now — it is somewhere at the level of 0.33 percent worldwide. In some countries, it reaches 0.1 percent. At the very beginning of the pandemic, there was a mortality rate of about five percent in the world. That is, the mortality rate has decreased by about 15 times,” the virologist said.

Earlier, Vladislav Zhemchugov, a specialist in particularly dangerous infections, an immunologist, MD, warned that it is better not to be in the heat for patients who have suffered COVID-19 and whose lungs are damaged after the disease.
