Polish and Czech Air Forces will patrol the skies over Slovakia

Polish and Czech air force will patrol the airspace Slovakia after cessation of operations of MiG-29 fighters, according to Polish radio.

Slovakia at the end of this August will operate MiG-29 Soviet production. The Minister of defence of Slovakia offers to give 11 MiG-29 Ukraine.”The head of the Ministry of national defence of Poland, Deputy Prime Minister Mariusz Blashak together with the Ministers of defence of the Czech Republic and Slovakia signed the Declaration on the protection of heaven Slovak, Polish and Czech air forces. The mission will start on 1 September and will last for half a year”, – stated in the message.

The Declaration was signed at the base Cucina in Slovakia.

Blashak, quoted by the Polish radio, said that Slovak is the sky from the Polish side will patrol a pair of F-16 fighters.
