The President of Latvia urged to isolate Russian-speaking residents who support Russia

President of Latvia Egils Levits urged to isolate the Russian-speaking inhabitants of the Republic, which opposed the political course of the state in respect of the operation in the Ukraine.

He said this in an interview to Latvian radio

According to Levitra, after the start of a special military operation of Russia in Ukraine, in Latvia there were “disloyal to the government of the Russian-speaking part.”

“Our task is to deal with her and isolate her from the rest of society,” he said.

Levitra says ITS in Ukraine made Latvia “more sensitive” to the presence of Russia in Latvia.

“Now we are much more painfully perceived Russian monuments,” the President added.
