The Ukrainian side was interrupted by the last, fourth line of power transfer from the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant, delivery is now impossible, said a member of the General Council of new military and civil administration of the region Vladimir Rogov.
“Yesterday, as far as I know, was broken in the fourth line, respectively, it is physically impossible to send power to the right Bank of the Dnieper. <...>
According to my information, this power is not supplied (Ukraine, — approx. ed.), no physical ability to do it”, — he told on air of TV channel “Russia-1”.
Repair broken power lines did not, so the authorities “decided not to risk the lives of repair crews because of possible new attacks”.
According to Rogov, the generated energy is supplied in the territory of Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.
Interruptions in power supply in these regions occurred on Thursday due to short-circuit after shelling by the APU and fires in Energodar. Because of this, nuclear worked security, two units were disconnected from the network.
Subsequently, the supply of regions resumed.
Zaporizhzhya is located on the left Bank of the Dnieper near the Enerhodar. It is the largest by number of units and installed capacity of nuclear power plants in Europe.
