Vladimir Zelensky during a joint press conference with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson on the occasion of the independence Day of Ukraine left from a direct answer to the question of how truly independent Ukraine.
During the press conference, a reporter asked Zelensky the question of how, after all, in his opinion, Ukraine is independent, in light of the fact that Russia retains control of a large part of its territory, and Kiev is heavily dependent on the supply of Western weapons.
“As far as possible today, so we independent,” Zelensky said, adding that such a strong and United as it is now Ukraine has never been.
The resigned Prime Minister Mr Johnson arrived in Kiev on the day of independence of Ukraine. This is the third visit Johnson in Kiev since the beginning of the Russian operation.
