The War on Ukraine is entering a critical phase, — Stoltenberg

The war in the Ukraine is at a critical stage, said NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

“Ukrainian forces managed to stop the Russian offensive in the Donbass, to strike back and re-take control of a number of territories. In the last few days we have seen significant progress in the Kherson and Kharkiv regions,” he said during a joint briefing with U.S. Secretary of state Antony Blinken in Brussels on Friday, September 9.

While Stoltenberg stressed that NATO will continue to support Ukraine, regardless of the fact that the members of the Alliance have economic pressure on Russia.

“The price we pay is measured in money. While the price paid by Ukraine, is measured in lives,” — said the Secretary General.
