Polish Prime Minister Morawiecki asked Macron to speed up the supply of arms to Ukrainians via visas to Europe:
Warsaw asked Paris to speed up the supply of weapons to Ukraine. This was stated by Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki after a conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron, RIA Novosti reports.
“I asked, appealed to the President of [France] for the earliest possible arms supplies, for strengthening financial support for Ukraine. We know that a state that is at war should rely on its allies,” the politician said.
Earlier, Morawiecki said that Poland insists on stopping the issuance of all visas to Russians by the European Union (EU), except for humanitarian ones. The politician called on the European Union to “send a strong signal” to all Russian citizens about the inadmissibility of criminal activity, “since whoever supports a crime also commits a crime.”
