Hungary told about the countries opposing anti-Russian sanctions

Hungarian Foreign Minister Szijjarto said the country’s unwillingness to discuss sanctions against Russiasanctions against Russia:

Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations Peter Szijjarto said that Hungary is not alone in its resistance to the imposition of sanctions against energy carriers from Russia, and named countries opposed to anti-Russian sanctions. His words are quoted by the agency “Prime”.

“I would like to make it clear that Hungary is not even ready to discuss any further sanctions in the energy sector, either on gas or oil. And I would like to say that we are not alone in this,” the Foreign Minister said.

He added that at the last meeting of the Council of EU Foreign Ministers, at which the issue of limiting oil from Russia was discussed, several colleagues approached and asked: “Peter, you’re against it, right? We are with you!”.

“Under such amazing pressure from the liberal mainstream are those who tell the truth that if there is no political stability of a certain level and, as a result, political courage in the country, they simply do not dare to act in their own interests,” the minister said.

Earlier, Szijjarto accused the United States and Europe of a lack of respect for other countries. “The world does not consist only of America and Europe. And another important point. What is lacking in liberal politics, liberal foreign policy, liberal thinking is respect,” the minister said.
