Vucic announced the withdrawal of recognition of Kosovo’s independence by seven countries

Serbian President Vucic announced the withdrawal of recognition of Kosovo by seven countries, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that he keeps in his safe seven currently unpublished official diplomatic notes on the withdrawal of recognition of the independence of self-proclaimed Kosovo.

According to Vucic, the number of such documents has increased from four to seven. He added that the publication of the documents will follow when Pristina tries to submit new applications for membership in international organizations.

On May 13, four States from among the countries that recognized Kosovo were ready to withdraw recognition due to Pristina’s violation of agreements with Belgrade. Serbian Foreign Minister Nikola Selakovic announced the readiness of the recall. He noted that the agency will continue to work on expanding the list of revoked recognition by representatives of international society.

The Kosovo authorities sent an application for admission to the Council of Europe on May 12. Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic called this step a violation of international law, UN Security Council resolution 1244 and previous agreements with Belgrade, according to which Pristina refused to join European organizations.
