Joe Biden considers it permissible to work with secret documents outside the office premises, US President Joe Biden commented on the searches of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) at the estate of former head of state Donald Trump.
This is reported by RIA Novosti.
The politician stated that he admits the possibility, under certain conditions, to work with secret documents outside the office premises. “It depends on the type of documents and how well the security is secured,” he said.
Biden noted that his house is equipped with “a specially designed space that is completely protected.” The American leader added that this allows him to work with secret government documentation, including outside the White House.
On August 9, Donald Trump spoke about the searches at his Mar-a-Lago estate. About a hundred FBI agents participated in them. The politician suggested that the actions of the FBI are related to his potential participation in the presidential elections of 2024. He called the search inappropriate.
Later, the National Archives and Records Administration of the United States stated that in the materials that were taken out of the estate, more than 100 documents contain secret information on 700 pages.
