Finland told about the process of negotiations with Turkey on joining NATO

Finnish Foreign Minister Haavisto said that Turkey did not put forward new requirements to the countriespresentatives of Turkey did not put forward new requirements to Sweden and Finland regarding the process of countries joining the NATO defense bloc.

The Turkish delegation at the talks is headed by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s press secretary Ibrahim Kalyn and Deputy Foreign Minister Sedat Onal.

Earlier, the Yeni Şafak newspaper reported that the Turkish authorities will hand over to Finland and Sweden a new list for the extradition of persons accused of terrorism. At the same time, the list of terrorists was expanded, the names of those citizens whose extradition Turkey had already requested earlier were added to it.
