Japan urged to stop “dismantling” relations with Russia

Ambassador Galuzin called on Japan to stop the “dismantling” of relations with Russiapony should stop the “dismantling” of relations with Russia.

Such an appeal was made by the Russian ambassador to Tokyo Mikhail Galuzin, RIA Novosti reports.

According to him, such steps do not bring any benefits to the Japanese state. He also stressed that Japan’s actions to increase sanctions pressure on Russia only delay the prospect of normalization of relations between the countries.

Earlier, the Secretary General of the Japanese cabinet, Hirokazu Matsuno, said that the Japanese government plans to maintain sanctions against Russia in connection with its special military operation in Ukraine. He assured that Tokyo intends to cooperate with the members of the “Big Seven” (G7) and other countries to support Kiev and put pressure on Moscow.
