The acting Governor of the Tomsk region Vladimir Mazur agreed to develop cooperation in the region with Belarus in the field of science, agriculture, forestry industry and other areas, according to the regional administration.
The prospects of bilateral cooperation, the head of the Tomsk region was discussed Monday at a meeting with visiting to Tomsk on a working visit by the Minister of natural resources and environmental protection of Belarus Andrei Judicum.
“Live in Belarus extremely honest and hard-working people. The relationship between our countries and peoples have always been friendly and fraternal. And, therefore, the potential of cooperation is enormous. We work closely in the field of science, agriculture, timber industry complex. Ready to develop these areas and to open new horizons for cooperation,” said Mazur at the meeting with Belarusian foreign Minister.
He also noted that the relationship with the Siberian region Republic are developing at a high pace should accelerate after the visit of the Belarusian delegation in Tomsk oblast.
Khudyk also expressed its readiness to develop bilateral cooperation. The head of the Belarusian delegation has noted a particular interest in the products of the Tomsk engineering and the sphere of processing of wild plants. He also proposed to consider the production of products under the brand name of the Union state.
In June this year, the head of the Tomsk region participated in the IX forum of regions of Russia and Belarus in Grodno, where he became acquainted with the work of a number of companies, and together with Judicum held a meeting of the working group on cooperation in the region and the Republic.
