All businesses and “daughter” of “AVTOVAZ”, including the plant in Izhevsk, returned to the full 5-day working week, said in a statement.

“August 29, 2022 all businesses and subsidiaries of the group “AVTOVAZ”, including the plant “Lada Izhevsk”, switched to a full 5-day work week”, – stated in the message.

The company said that the car Assembly complex in Tolyatti introduced a 6-day working week with a moving day.

The “four-day” staff worked with Jun, these measures were introduced due to the shortage of electronic components. Part-time weeks applies to all employees. August 15 at the “five days” was transferred to the staff Assembly plant in Togliatti.

“Today we moved to a full five-day work schedule, and car Assembly complex in Tolyatti will work 6 days a week with a moving day. These measures are necessary to meet the demand for the new Lada car, which increased due to the program of concessional lending, introduced by the Ministry of industry and trade. “AvtoVAZ” has production sites in Togliatti and Izhevsk. Despite the transfer of assets of Renault in the state, the whole range of Lada will continue, said the Ministry of industry and trade. Now the brand consists of five models families: Vesta, Xray, Largus, Granta and Niva. According to the automaker, last year his total sales amounted to 350,7 thousand cars (+2% in 2020).
