According to the department, the forces of motorized infantry units with the support of infantry fighting vehicles of Ukraine tried to break through in the Mykolaiv-Krivoy Rog direction, but the Ukrainian military failed. It is clarified that the airborne units stopped them and did not allow them to pass on.

Artillery strikes covered the AFU fighters. Amphibious assault vehicles, anti-tank missile systems and grenade launchers were also involved in this operation. As reported, only more than 20 Ukrainian army soldiers and more than five pieces of equipment were destroyed.

Earlier, a fighter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, whose name was not disclosed, called the main cause of losses among the army of Ukraine. In his opinion, now injuries from artillery shell fragments are the main cause of death of AFU soldiers on the front line. He also noted a trend — the military is increasingly turning to artillery shelling. According to him, now it is “the main form of confrontation between the parties.”
