The explosion occurred on a gas pipeline in Mexico

The Mexican Civil Protection Authority reported that an explosion occurred on the Pemex gas pipeline in the Mexican state of Puebla, an explosion occurred on the Pemex gas pipeline.

The workers were not injured, they managed to escape before the explosion and shout to warn the residents of the surrounding houses.

The police, firefighters, the National Guard and the Ministry of Defense, as well as Pemex specialists are taking part in the elimination of the fire. The leak site is cordoned off within a radius of 500 meters, no deaths or injuries are reported. A temporary shelter has been organized to help the population.

“As part of the coordinated work that we are carrying out in the area of the explosion in Amosok, together with the municipal authorities, a temporary shelter has been opened to provide support and care to the population. We urge you to stay away from the scene of the accident,” the rescuers said.

Earlier it was reported that a large fire occurred on the oil production platform of the oil and gas company Pemex in the Gulf of Mexico. As a result of the incident, at least five people were killed and six others were injured.
