BLAGOVESHCHENSK, 24 Aug – RIA Novosti. Monitoring of prices by the government of the Amur region made it possible to avoid speculation in the market and partly to reduce the price of drinking and materials, said the Governor of the region Vasily Orlov.

The results of the monitoring of the situation on the market of inert construction and lumber were discussed at the meeting of the crisis team Orlov.”Monitoring of prices of basic construction materials will continue. He has already shown its effectiveness. Thanks to the control of relevant ministries, as well as the work of FAS, which addresses of our agencies verifies the validity of a price increase by the mining companies, we were able to prevent speculative increase in the cost of basic materials, some of them even see a decrease. Let me remind you, the rising cost of sand, gravel and other basic materials directly affects the cost of road repairs, leads to a sharp rise in the cost of capital construction, including the rise in the price of square meter of housing”, – quotes the Governor press service of the regional government.

According to the head of the region, given the pace and scale of construction in the area, to prevent undue rise in price of building materials for the authorities, as this question relates to the sustainability of the region’s economy.

According to the Minister of natural resources of the region Dmitry Loginova April Ministry experts have analyzed the dynamics of changes in the value on non-metallic materials not only in the Amur region, but also in the domestic market of the Far East. According to the monitoring results proved that the cost of inert materials in the Amur region the lowest. In addition, at the end of July – beginning of August there is a downward trend in the price of sand and sand-gravel mixture from 5 to 30% compared to the first quarter of this year.

It is noted that the situation on the market of timber products is also stable. According to the Ministry of forestry and fire safety, prices for lumber July fell on average by 5%.

The largest drop was recorded in October (11%), Romnenskaya (8%) and Simonovska (5%) regions. In General, the price of wood products in the region were established at the level of 14.3 thousand per cubic meter. In Blagoveshchensk the prices for such products also fell by 5% and amounted to an average of 18.3 thousand rubles per cubic meter.
